Cholera – Haiti Suffering Worsens

According to a senior U.N. official, Haiti’s deadly cholera epidemic is spreading faster than originally estimated and is likely to last up to a year with hundreds of thousands of people infected.

It is believed that many more are affected than those recorded in official figures because of the difficulty in obtaining information from outlying areas. The current death toll is possibly close to 2,000 with the number of people affected exceeding 60.000.

While aid groups are sending in soap and water to actively fight the spread of cholera it would be foolish not to consider homeopathy as a treatment and prevention strategy to curtail this disease.

Homeopathy has been used with in past epidemics with good success, is still used in some countries today for local outbreaks, is inexpensive, quickly distributed, easily administered and safe.
