It seems so. A professor of science and religion discusses two things that don’t make sense. One is the placebo effect and how it may NOT be “all in the mind”. The other is the homeopathic effect and how physics and chemistry may have to be rewritten after a series of experiments by a sceptical scientist showed that an effect does happen (no surprises there). And does homeopathy depend on the placebo effect? Obviously not when animals, plants and cells have all been shown to respond to homeopathic remedies; the placebo effect as we understand it does not explain their response.
