Gum disease improves with homeopathy
Gum disease improves with homeopathy: A recent study awaiting publication looked at two groups of people with gingivitis and peridontal disease. Both groups were treated with the dental procedures of scaling and root planning, but the group which was treated with homeopathy in addition did much better – and not only with gum health, but in cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose and uric acid measures as well. In other words, overall health improved in the homeopathically treated group – not just their gum disease.
Another interesting step would be to compare a homeopathy only group (rather than in addition) with the dental treatment group to see if the same improvements occur. I suspect they would, as that is what homeopaths regularly see in their clinics – gum health improves when people come for treatment of other seemingly unrelated symptoms.
