Homeopaths WhatsApp-ing their way to efficient treatment

whatsappHomeopaths are putting technology to good use by checking and testing homeopathy’s ability to restrict viruses such as HIV, Ebola and Hepatitis B via WhatsApp.

The project began last year on the use of a potentised snake venom at the height of the Ebola outbreaks. The Indian Express reports that the researchers discovered the venom-based compound actually stopped the virus template from producing DNA in a simulated medium. They have now approached the National Institute of Virology (NIV) for permission to test the drug on the actual virus.

This innovative approach will also be the focus of discussions later this year at the World Homeopathy Summit in which homeopathic and non-homepathic scientists from around the world come together to more closely examine homeopathy and its phenonemon.
