Homeopathy and the Italian Health Care System

A map of Italy for this Italian studyStudy…

From 1998, and 15 years following, a pilot project in Lucca, Italy, assessed the integration of homeopathy into the public health care system.

More than 4,000 people took part in the study.

The published results showed homeopathy was successfully used with, and in some cases replaced conventional medicine.

The research into its effectiveness and that of other complementary therapies involved allergies, respiratory diseases, side effects of anticancer treatments, overall cost-effectiveness, and risk management.
