Prison Homeopathy

prisonHomeopathy has been used to treat mental-emotional problems since its earliest days. Now, prisoners from the Indore Central Jail, India, look set to benefit from its services.

The Advanced Homeopathic Medical Research and Welfare Society recently organised a camp at the jail in which doctors physically examined the inmates and found that 10% of them suffered from mental health problems. In what is an enlightened approach to the problem, the doctors intend to provide ongoing free homeopathic remedies and treatment for these inmates. They say that in spite of advances, it is not easy to diagnose or cure mental-emotional problems with conventional medicines. With homeopathy, these inmates will at least receive safe and often effective treatment from the remedies – something not often seen within prisons.
