H:MC21

Homeopathy: Medicine for the 21st Century (H:MC21) provides homeopathic information, research and publications to help homeopaths and patients in the UK campaign for homeopathy.

On its homepage alone it has:

1. A new leaflet regarding the attacks on homeopathy – “There is no argument against homeopathy which stands up to scientific scrutiny. They are simply slogans, distortions and downright lies.”
2. The Swiss government Homeopathy in Healthcare Report which states that homeopathy is effective and safe and, as far as could be judged, cost-efficient. This report explicitly rejects the meta-analysis by Shang et al., published in the Lancet 2005, which is often used to discredit homeopathy.
3. Information on the Advertising Standards Authority’s (ASA) investigation into complaints about H:MC21 – interesting reading, indeed.
4. The admission by Edzard Ernst, the world’s first professor of complementary medicine and a constant critic of homeopathy, that he has no qualifications in homeopathy despite telling people repeatedly during his tenure that he was a trained homeopath.
