Homeopathy: Medicine for the 21st Century (H:MC21) provides homeopathic information, research and publications to help homeopaths and patients in the UK campaign for homeopathy.
On its homepage alone it has:
- A new leaflet regarding the attacks on homeopathy – “There is no argument against homeopathy which stands up to scientific scrutiny. They are simply slogans, distortions and downright lies.”
- The Swiss government Homeopathy in Healthcare Report which states that homeopathy is effective and safe and, as far as could be judged, cost-efficient. This report explicitly rejects the meta-analysis by Shang et al., published in the Lancet 2005, which is often used to discredit homeopathy.
- Information on the Advertising Standards Authority’s (ASA) investigation into complaints about H:MC21 – interesting reading, indeed.
- The admission by Edzard Ernst, the world’s first professor of complementary medicine and a constant critic of homeopathy, that he has no qualifications in homeopathy despite telling people repeatedly during his tenure that he was a trained homeopath.
