Homeopathy in paediatric oncology

According to 2011 research, homeopathy is the most often used complementary therapy during the treatment of childhood cancer in Germany. Parents from the study said they had used homeopathy previously and would recommend it to other families in a similar situation. Compared to other complementary therapies, user satisfaction for homeopathy was rated as very high. The majority of prescriptions were made in the hospital setting by non-medical homeopaths.

Wouldn’t it be good if shared treatment like this happened in other countries as well? It would be a win-win situation for everyone – the children, families, and staff.
