Skeptics like to dismiss homeopathy as being nothing more than placebo, but this study, in which 30 people with insomnia were given either homeopathy or placebo, confirmed what we see in practice – placebo effects don’t last, but homeopathy goes the distance. Those given the true homeopathic remedy improved significantly across the course of the study, while those who received the placebo had an initial improvement followed by a relapse. The researchers concluded: “Homeopathy is a viable treatment modality for this condition and further research is justified.”
