Capsicum Annuum, commonly called red pepper, is an annual herbaceous plant grown in warmer parts of the world for its edible oblong fruit. The homoeopathic remedy, Capsicum (Caps.), is prepared from this fruit and its seeds.

Capsicum suits people with a heavy build who are prone to nostalgia, sadness, depression, and
conditions that affect the mucous membranes.

Common Uses

When the remedy matches the symptom profile, Capsicum has the ability to treat conditions such as alcoholism, colitis, cough, depression, gastritis, haemorrhoids, low back pain, obesity, and urethritis.

Important

Chronic or persistent complaints, which may or may not be mentioned above, require a different treatment and dosage protocol so are best managed by a qualified homeopath for good results.
